About Dr. Mininberg

Dr. Amy Mininberg studied economics and was on the women’s gymnastics team at Yale University. She then attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was inducted into the AOA Honor Society as a junior. While at LSU she was a member of the Honors Program and presented her research on proteoglycans and diabetes at numerous scientific conferences. She did her internship and residency in internal medicine at The University of Virginia. She has been in private practice in Atlanta since 2003.

“Dr. Amy” is board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and takes a team approach to medicine. She believes the physician and patient must work together to accomplish the goal of prevention and early treatment.
